To be serious for a second, what conditions do is a large part of why vgl25's rules were slurpy. Conditions matter more the higher the starting stat is, orange bufflets are equal to silvers and you got 6 of them to roll every game, so most teams had the equivalent of 2 additional silvers in defensive areas. That got compounded by having tall CBs in the same bracket which gave defense two sizable buffs.
