In the hoyo system, you aren’t punished with worse odds or more expensive rateups for tossing a few rolls on a banner you like, or dumping your entire stash even if you’re out of pities. A test scenario. Say at the end of Giliberta’s banner, I have 90 pulls saved which is not enough to guarantee her. I like Gilberta and I want her. The best advice is to just NOT pull since you might get nothing but a standard banner character and be stuck needing another 120 to get a limited rate up. In the Hoyo system, I could safely dump those 100 pulls to TRY and get her. If I fail, I lose nothing, because pity towards the rate up carries over.

There's another similar water elemental miniboss with the same conditions so I would advise doing them together. Personally I killed it, hit a 30 minute timer, killed the water elemental, then went and farmed other monsters in the world until the timer was up, I got the whole log both monsters and plants in less than 2 days, you'll want to look into the crossbows too as that has a daily limit on how many you can farm
