My malezen is reading the latest book of a fiction series about a wizard who solves mysteries that he used to really enjoy, but the second last book was kind of poorly paced and reddity for lack of a better word, and increasingly it feels to be farther and farther afield from the original concept with consequences that feel dramatic and overblown but ultimately don't matter.
