Aemeth ruined the story and made it all about her. I thought the entire point is that he keeps wiping his memory to make different choices so he can figure out a way to stop the Lament. Much like Scar's goat analogy, the cat in the box one also falls flat. It would have been better if he views his mission as a shackle because he refuses to leave the people of Solaris-3 to their fate. His desire to save everyone is also what's causing him misery because he can't stop the Lament without willingly sacrificing some people (or more simply he can't go home without abandoning everyone to their fate). Making the guys back home cartoony villains is dumb, when the could have tied it back to the recurring theme of the whole plot. It's not that the people who put the cat in the box sealed it up, but that the cat refuses to leave the box since he'd have to trample on everyone to escape. Oh well, at least we got yandere-lite memes. Easy skip. Can't wait for this patch to end.

The game I was waiting for came out so I didn't "need" wuwa anymore, but I made a pact with the game that I will continue playing until her banner arrived, and if I wasn't enjoying the game thoroughly by then I could stop after that. She came in 1.1 and that update was a massive step up across the board from 1.0, and its only gone up from there and I have no reason to consider stopping anymore.
