I'm actually excited about this expansion, I have not liked the themes for expansions they have been picking for a while but this one seems good. Miss when they used to just take dungeons,raids from wow and do something out of that. Those wincons serve the target audience. If that crowd gets mad they nerve. All others may suffer.. and those start complaining here.Ever wonder why a class like Priest never consistently is and was a Tier one? Yes dragon Priest is well known. Because Priest is not an target audience class. Imagine Priest to be consistently oppressive as Paladin, Mage, Hunter, Rogue.....all hell would break loose.The problem of Hearthstone is the problem of its developers. You need to understand that playing around discovers is a skill as well, and discover is one of the main sources of skill expression in the game since we cannot interact on our opponents turn. Learn the pools for each discover card, and then whenever your opponent discovers you need to consider the current gamestate, as well as what both your and your opponents decks are trying to accomplish in the upcoming turns. In a broad sense, if you are the aggressor in the matchup and your opponent is the control deck, you should be assuming that your opponent is looking for removal/board wipe/healing, and then moving forward you should be making mental notes on each turn of what they may or not not have based on what they did not play, a simple example would be if you are against death night and have a board that is cleared by corpse explosion on turn 5 and they do not corpse explosion it, you can pretty safely assume that the discover is not a corpse explosion. Get in the habit of doing that every turn and for every discover and you will slowly start to see your winrate improve. It is honestly way too complicated to completely explain in a reddit comment, I apologize for the wall of text, but I am a frequent top 50-100 player and I hope this advice can help ease your frustration about discovers and helps you refocus on enjoying the game and improving on your own play!
