After Seia years, Seia months, and Seia days of playing Seia Archive, I'll be quoting. I've finally realized that Seia games aren't for me. The straw that broke the camel's back was this anniversary and the release of Seia. Content for Seia had become very sporadic since Volume S. True, we got the shorts and the maid event, but after that it died completely. She didn't get anything for years. People started drawing her less and less, and she fell to the bottom in popularity rankings. I thought, "now for 5th anniversary she'll get a revival of interest and art."But instead what happened is that she was pushed to the side. The art for her alt was meh. They didn't even bother to give her a new L2D song, just reusing Seia's. She was strong, sure, but that was to be expected. And she was completely shoved aside for Seia in the new volume. All the great character moments go to Seia. All the nice scenes with Sensei go to Seia. Any cool moment Seia almost has for herself is accompanied with Seia. And the art? Jack shit. I've gotten barely anything good. Everyone's just drawing Seia, and in the off chance Seia gets nice art it's either the exception or Seia happens to be in the image too. Everyone has completely shoved Seia aside and replaced her with Seia. Maybe normally I wouldn't find this a big deal, but given their appearance and that Seia is literally born out of Seia it makes it feel like they are just straight up replacing her to me. And there's so much mean spirited art about this too, with Seia NTRing Seia being a very common thing on Twitter.I've been giving Seia my money for years now, on the idea that it would be a good investment to spend more time with my wife and instead they made her the second fiddle after years of nothing. I get it. It's a Seia thing. You gotta move on to the next thing. No one can ever have substantial development because you gotta keep moving on.
