Here are my thoughts on Fiendsmith Live Twins after playing it for a few days>turns too longYou can feel your opponent saying to himself "surely that's the last summon" 20 times throughout your turn. You have to have your combo completely down to have time to think on the opponent's turn, because your endboard is not enough to thoughtlessly overwhelm a good hand. unless you floodgate them with Gryphon>weird followup turnsWith how tight the extra is you end up with all your combo pieces in the GY. You can start your turn shuffling back Kisikil with Engraver so she can then revive Lilla, but then you're not able to shuffle back any FS card. You often NEED to resolve Sequence to shuffle back stuff to be able to do anything.>Soul of Rage into Fancy Ball is funYou get to use its effect to link off your Evil Twins like how Spright gets to tribute them. I find it weird when an opponent overextends to make the biggest negate board they can when you know that these guys likely only have a few seconds left to spare, so when it's your turn all you usually have to do is wait for them to respond when they get priority and time themselves out because they have so many effect options for every phase. Always wanted to play/learn blackwings and the dice rally was a decent place to practice it(while still being awarded shit). since their bonuses was just destroying something + summoning a lv2/dark, it paid for itself quick, but I learned that this archetype pretty much only has the same couple combo lines thats easy to for opponents to stop at any point while their best case scenario is a weak endboard that only knows how to do a little burn. I haven’t played since the week after Maliss released, I only have 360 UR. Do I spend 330 UR on making a Lunalight deck, or 360 UR on the K9 cards to add to my old VS deck? To be honest if every game is VSK9 I don’t want to just play mirror matches all the time. I have a Maliss deck but Maliss got hit pretty hard didn’t it? I want to build a deck that isnt autistic 10 minute comboslop, but I want one that will be competitively viable and at the very least something that can last through the next few “metas”, kind of like how Labyrinth managed to be pretty good for a long time. I'm at Diamond 1 with Sky Striker (and going for Master 1). I'm finally breaking free of playing Blue-Eyes to Master 1 every month for the past 11 months. While Blue-Eyes has usually gotten me above 70% win rate, it causes me mental anguish with how reliant it is on hand traps. Going second with 0 to 1 hand traps usually means I lose because the Blue-Eyes engine is currently too weak into most boards.

I feel that going 2nd is such a massive disadvantage in this game's design that going against a stun deck is barely any different. At least in Bo3 when someone's loses the coin toss to stun, they can choose to go 1st in the next duel, and then side in all of the cards that would counter stun for the final game. In bo1 it just feels like youre getting caught with your pants down because your deck didn't have an answer to everything
