I think Rien is the best antagonist Limbus has had so far. His relationship with Ryoushu and the Precipts really hard carried the Canto for me.

Which isn't an inherent criticism on the Nursefathers as characters, I thought Callisto/Valencina were standout characters this Canto, but as characters that are meant to support Ryoshu's story, they do a pretty shit job in the grand scheme of things.
