I know that some of you already said we can't do gradual small changes because people will be mad we run on vanilla 15/21, but I still think that bundling a dozen new variables and asking people to just trust it wholesale is a mistake. As someone who has watched the TMA ruleset develop, it's pretty obvious what he was using as benchmarks. In all testing sets, GPM, Shots(shots off target), and saves were the main driving force of getting the ruleset into a baseline. Basically, high shot counts, but not the same amount of shots on target. GPM was always desired to be near 5, that was the target, and saves needed to be present, but not so overwhelming that games end 1-0 with massive shot counts on both sides. Everything after that became fine tuning how the players played on the field once the metrics were met. Now with that in mind, someone could take the ruleset as constructed and adjust height and stats in such a way that shot counts are low, but are always on target, someone could adjust it so that GPM is fucking 3.5, but shot counts are really high. It's not magic, and TMA has already said how to adjust things one way or the other. Want to get rid of S2W? Jack up Phys con back to 77, but get ready for CBs to merc your golds. VGLco could make changes and test them significantly, 8 game sets take like 2 hours with no management or horns. They could aim for specific things that they want out of the gameplay, but I genuinely don't think they will.

Are any tests being run where it's two of the same export playing? I feel like that'd be much more conducive to seeing obvious issues with player structure like quality of headers or midfield presence or whatever. Having two different exports is just another variable that fucks with the numbers.
