Also liked Necrom but it wasn't anything special. When I played if you had eso+ you got access to two followers, a Khajiit necromancer that was based as fuck and Tanlorin, an annoying non binary altmer bitch who never shut up and would get mad about everything I did.

A lot of areas that were just death zones with frostfall aren't with SM. There's no thirst which for a lot of anons is a positive but for me it isn't. It doesn't track follower needs at all. One thing I DO like (but also hate as a wintersun guy) is that SM charges you to use shrines, even ones in your own home. I guess it makes sense in a way because you do leave offerings but it's always a flat fee and not based on the god like in Oblivion. It's handling of diseases is alright, I think overall RND does it best in my opinion with iNeed's disease addon in second and Last Seed/Diseased Remastered in third. In survival mode even as they progressed it still felt like a bit of a nothingburger. I wish someone would incorporate the SM visuals into Last Seed/Frostfall, I get why they don't but I'd prefer the snow icon over three different fucking meters popping up . TL;DR If I had to rate survival mods it'd put some form of survival mode above Sunhelm but below Frostfall. Why fix what isn't broke and all that?
