The thing with the reviews getting better happened the last time the game was on sale too. It's just a couple hundred new players coming in a leaving good reviews but it never amounted to any meaningful impact on review scores. Maybe after like 5 more deep sales you'll see some kind of shift but it's going to take a long while regardless. As for sales, simply put there's zero chance it keeps pace with world sales for next quarter because holiday sales are winding down and now that the switch 2 port is looking unlikely, you'll just have to wait for the expansion for any kind of "salvation" to come to this game. Just give up on expecting wilds to be saved and enjoy what you can because it's likely going to be another fucking 2 years of this game

The way capcom structures expansion now is just to put in more monsters and improve monster moveset. The difficulty does not scale with base endgame, but just with base game ending. So you end up facing piss easy shit until you reach expansion endgame.

Well, took 4 attempts and I had to resort to sword and shielf for the 4th to deal with his attacks.He is hard as fuck, not as hard (or fun) as primordial malzeno but he was a challenge to beat, though jesus do all the problems with Wilds' combat come through in his fight.The dropped inputs, the overreliance on long attack chains with no dodgeable patterns, HP bloat. His fight is just an amalgam of all of those frustrations without any cool factors to it, which was really disappointing. His theme is just a combo of normal Ark and guardian Ark, I would have liked a much more out there synth composition given guardian arkveld and the general musical themeing of the artificial monsters but you don't get that here, his attacks are also not that cool looking, and they took out the earrape boom sfx from his "ult", which is so lame, that was my fav thing about regular Arkveld.
