I was curious so I did some autism, it takes Saileach 30 seconds into the simulation to pass Myrtle for the first time, and then the two of them continually trade positions during skill use. Saileach will eventually take the lead permanently hundreds of seconds into the simulation but by that point vanguards are very irrelevant.So in conclusion I don't see a reason to use 0 pot Saileach over Myrtle for pure DP generation, if your second character costs 20 DP then Myrtle will get that character out 4 seconds earlier than Saileach will and that's kind of a big deal. Max pot Saileach probably stomps Myrtle but holy hell that's a lot of pots on an old non-meta 6*.If you're using Saileach it's gotta be for the utility. So what kind of utility do people like out of Saileach? Her skills do seem neat, her S2 feels like it actually might be a valid medic-in-a-pinch ability and the stun slow and fragile on S3 seems like it could be cool.

I was curious so I modeled max pot Elysium with his S1, since his S1 is identical to Saileach's and Elysium manages to be the best of the three if you deploy at least one sniper with his DP cost reduction in effect. Elysium only delays your next placement by 1 second instead of 4, and the superior DP generation from the skill pulls him ahead of Myrtle by the end of his skill use. Max pot Elysium is pretty damn expensive, but somehow I managed to get just that despite never trying or building him.Plus, Elysium also has utility with his S2, I know that skill is amazing when you need it it is one hell of a thing to have on a Vanguard. I think I might build my Elysium instead of my Saileach, a max pot Elysium is a thing to celebrate and I forgot I even had achieved that.

His S2 even without Snipers is a good Saileach S3 sidegrade, she has a Stun and Fragile while he has the weaker slow but DEF shred is a sidegrade as it's better against walls Fragile wouldn't help with and he provides invis reveal with significantly better range and longer duration on all effects. If you run two or more snipers, his talent for DP alone is strong but +20 ASPD is not insignificant to get two or three more attacks before an enemy leaves range or a skill runs out and the effect has global range. Flags aren't as strong now with Ines and co. and SA2 but I still bring him almost everywhere. His S1 is good too but losing S2 opportunity cost feels bad.

Collab newfag, I'm really struggling with the first challenge map. Things happen so fast I don't have enough time to setup any proper defense. The teeth stun my blockers and run through or the clowns float on past me. I figured out that I need to shadow the clowns and they will fall in the hole but I just can't get people out in time. Either the teeth get through or I can't block the clowns before they take off. This is the team I was using, any advice on what I could do to improve?

The easiest use I can think of for the average player is to help killboxes after a boss revive, where he cages the boss area while it resurrects and you retreat him after. S3 will warm up and gets its highest values and stay active even after his retreat, while then you can deploy another op to get ready for the boss and shred it with tons of Arts damage and debuff. It's a very strong skill when used well but for the effort it takes you can get similar value with a debuffer + DPS duo with no math needed.
