Or shift your attention to objectives, farm, or other lanes that could snowball if you showed up at inconvenient comedic timing, if for some reason helping them is impossible (for example, the enemy has better vision control or whichever lane you wanted to gank keeps pushing to the enemy tower and opening themselves up to feed, and then they blame you for some reason because you're at that kind of elo rating, which is as much your own fault as it is theirs because you got matched with them)
