On this topic, I dislike how Wave and Tails don't interact in IDW.It's not like she doesn't show up, she robbed the museum, fought the Metal Virus, played volleyball with the Diamondcutters, whatever that Knuckles Chaotix arc was, that Phantom Racer arc.I think they only managed to speak for 1 quip in 1 panel in the racing arc, and then Tails and Amy got booted off the story so they couldn't race only Sonic and the Lesbians could once again.
