Why does the Prototype bitch about Poppy letting the "outsider" in when he used the player character to kill Catnap and the Doctor on purpose and it seeming like it was all part of an intentional plan. Shouldn't he be happy Poppy brought the player in? Otherwise the Doctor and Doey would still be problems.

Anyone else got a theory for the Observation: Sweet Street note? It describes a experiment (monitored by Dr. Newman) getting used to the dollhouse and acting similarily crazy to Lily after a few months, but Gracie only became Lily after the HoJ where Newman was dead. Does this imply there's two Lilies?

>>558194026I think the plan for Lily changed midway through development and they forgot to remove the note.I think people saying she was Stella were onto something, considering her character and the fact Stella is nowhere in this chapter while Gracie is everywhere. They probably were one-in-the-same early on but for whatever reason they split them into two characters.The original plan was likely that Leith forcibly turned Stella into Lily, then The Hour happened, then the toys ignored her. Now that note is all that remains of that original vision me thinks.

Which we then end up burning and leaving her completely vulnerable. Ideally we would take care of her as she flips between absolutely freaking out and childish cooing and giggling. Let her grow her hair back, possibly repair her, etc. But we could also do worse things then Oliver did to her. Bringing back Gracie and putting her in a hole is obvious.
