You can't mirror the Knife tool unless you are using a Mirror modifier. Just use the Loop Cut tool to make uniform loops and the Knife tool to connect them.

you can technically mirror individual cuts by going through and using an alternative mirror option like the universal one that applies changes to the model instead of mirroring the model itself but it's normally best to completely ignore most options in blender until you get used to it enough to know when to use it and when not to

Added some kinda eye enemy that uses magic to create its wings and shoot magic prototype bullets at the player. If it wasn't hard to do you wouldn't have to learn it, and it wouldn't have value, that's just basic economics. You're the designer here and can set the scope, do you put the time into improving or do you pivot into something you can do?

I went to a new doctor for a checkup yesterday and she was a fucking zoomer. She asked about my diet and I may have told her a few inaccuracies.
What's worse is I started slipping with my work again. Yesterday I again did less than I was supposed to, so now I owe my game 15 hours. That's how it goes, first you give an inch and soon it all spirals out of control. This is far worse for my game than any technical blunder. Today I start paying back what I owe. Better than getting to point of owed time getting too big and you just outright stop devving much if at all for days just from the mental burden of knowing how much time you need to make up.

I'm kinda considering pivoting my games "plot" from the original idea to a new idea. A lot of the mechanics stay the same but new gameplay is added on top for more content but I believe this could very easily increase development time by an additonal 6 to 12 months on a game where the original idea would take maybe 12 months max.

Also the idea should have much better success odds but idk if I should go through with this. I've been at gamedev for a long time, I'm tired of it.

I have to work like that because I otherwise I'll work less than 2 hours a day, which was my average from July to December last year. And even that was a struggle and I had to force myself to work.
I'm too experienced to have much faith in my game and I know how much drudgery I'll have to endure before I release it, so discipline is the only tool I have to keep going and I don't have some objective metric to adhere to, I'll just start slipping.
