I got my honor 5 back 2 weeks ago and haven't lost it yet. This used to be normal for me for most of 2025 until I started playing lots of aram mayhem. But with the new version of it, I stopped playing as much. Guess I got sick of it. I'll play maybe two rounds of it every few days. I think they pick ez so they can have the support leave the lane all game and still get farm on the ad, but a two item varus would be 10x more useful than a 4 item ezreal. I'm at least not feeding in lane and don't get to rotate because the jungle either does dumb invades, and dies before I can even get there while I lose lane pressure, or sidelanes are feeding. All before min 10. Down a division watching my teams play like this. At least I know the limit of when I can play aggressive, these people play without thinking.

Things like manually switching to Second Wind and remembering to buy Doran's Shield against a Volibear as opposed to taking some auto rune setup that'd give you Domination/Ult. Hunter 2nd (probably not, but for the sake of the example) as Shen and autopilot buying Blade makes ALL the difference.
