Slowpoke here. Just finished princess synergy and figured I'd write a review for it. To be honest I think this game was pretty shit and I'll go into detail as to why below.Let me start off by talking about the H content. Straight up 95% of the scenes are ningen with a pittance of the scenes being with monsters/green ningen, which is laughable when you think about the setting. Romasha gets 90% of the scenes with all the side girls getting about 3 each. The general theme for just about every scene is humiliation, blackmail or voyeurism which at times is unbelievably contrived and forced. For example nearly every changing, showering, pissing etc scene is being recorded or peeped at by someone and the scene is general written from the peeper's perspective. If you're not into that kind of content like me, it's a massive boner killer. The blackmail which is basically every scene was also stupid as fuck. It essentially boiled down to "if you don't fuck me I'll fuck your friends instead" when said friends have already fucked every dude in the city multiple times. Also the sheer amount of piss in this game was unhinged. I don't mind a little here and there but jesus christ it's like there's piss shoved into everything and it was really jarring. Everything with the main antagonist for most of the story, Diado, complete trash. They try to "redeem" him towards the end in a very predictable way and it falls completely flat, tone deaf even. All the scenes he was involved in were horrible. Also generally speaking a lot of the scenes being with fat retards with predictably disgusting depictions were gross as well. Lastly the l2d was incredibly hit and miss. Some of the animations such as the high kicks, undressing and combat attacks were great. On the other hand a lot of the H scenes, squats, haigure etc were more jank than anything. Haigure in particular is like what the fuck man.Cont.

To summarize the plot, the planet the story takes place on is quarantined off from the rest of the galaxy due to an infectious virus known as trash. Trash is the result of a failed experiment of a former research team comprised of romasha, lisa, jiji, diado etc. It essentially either disintegrates or transforms people into monsters hence the quarantine. To avoid certain death lisa and jiji use a dragon blood crystal created from a dragon's heart and transplant it into their bodies. The dragon's blood allows them to regenerate and counteract the deterioration from the virus. Naturally this causes side effects such as slowly turning into a dragon and continuously giving birth to more trash. Approx. 200 years later lisa creates highlander, a city she uses to try and realize her ideal of getting her friends back. She essentially uses their dna to continuously clone them until they become what they were in her memory, they of course never do. Hence all of the characters who live in highlander, romasha included, are clones. Jiji on the other hand disagreed with Lisa and chose to live apart, choosing to abandon technology. The reason being that the energy in-universe known as photonia is the planet's life force essentially and if it's depleted the planet will cease to exist meaning extinction. Lisa's tech uses a shit ton of it and so after some time Romasha teams up with Jiji to put a stop to her and save the planet. Along the way Romasha meets her CHF, Spina, who saves her and is saved by her in various ways.The story ends with Romasha defeating Lisa, Spina being injured and choosing to leave Highlander to deal with the trash problem on her own, ultimately morphing her further into a dragon until she's no longer able to speak. Romasha goes to meet her one last time at the place they first met, says thank you and the game ends.Cont.

For example when the experiment failed long ago, romasha tried to make ammends by fucking everyone in the lab. That's the same explanation they use to coerce her into fucking everyone in highlander, guilt that her friends are the ones suffering instead of her. Then at the very end they give you an obviously "wrong" choice to repeat the exact same mistake lisa did previously to "see spina again." Narratively speaking that was such a terrible misstep and kick in the nuts for no reason. Not to mention one of the main antagonists, Diado, after a long and painful "redemption" arc is literally just killed off-screen immediately after. Everyone dies, the end. Fucking LMAO.Yes, there were a couple good story bits but they were painfully sparse compared to the steaming pile of shit that was the rest of the story. Yes, there were a couple fappable scenes despite most of them being boring predictable dogshit that not even bad status variations could save, which in of themselves were half-assed shit. Also while I imagine the apparently numerous patches fixed most of it by now, this game was buggy as fuck. Fucked up scenes, soft locks everywhere. I don't even.Straight up 4/10 game. The devs had no idea what they were doing and very clearly cien scammed for so long they lost sight of what they were even trying to make.Love Jiji though.

I'm glad MTool exists for idiots like myself too lazy to figure out cheat engine.Every so often I come across a TRULY shit game from dlsite where the grind is insane. Found one today where all of the basic enemies for the first 2 hours (at least--after 2 hours I resorted to cheating) beat your shit in with a really high experience rate curve. They shower you with extremely bad status elements in the second area with no shop, no eq, no easy spot for grinding, and while you can get healing skills you can't reset skill points so if you commit to the wrong thing--fuck you, basically.Oh and the bosses don't give experience points, and after lengthy (like 20 minutes) sequences without saves they tell you "losing here is a game over".It's probably the most impressively awful experience I've had with an RPG and no--GOR isn't an aspect, I'm pretty sure the dev just genuinely thinks he made a good game given he frontloads tutorials (it's just a bog standard RPG in terms of mechanics)
