I hosted weekly karazhan raids with friends on alts and some randoms to fill, because it was old content of that expansion at some point and you could just jump in. It's really simple and mostly a stat check. Every strat is explained in 2-3 sentences. It's hard to replicate that kind of thing even with ex1 or 2 and have fun.
If you want more people to do EX+ content it needs to be easier and not require 15-20 minute guides before getting into the instance. You can’t force people to raid no matter how hard you make it
