Repostan from previous thread. Do we know for sure if the FCU existed at the time of AC2/AHL? Even in AHL it's never namedropped, hell I think the only countries that are explicitly named are Yuktobania and Osea.

I wonder what the upside-down FCU flag in the trailer means. Is it like a Philippines scenario where the upside down flag is the wartime flag?

Also interesting that the FCU shares the 7 star motif with Erusea.

>>
>>558405605
Yes, it's just called USEA in AHL. You fight for the side who wanted to ally with the Oseans, though.
>>
Basically Cross Rumble's explanation of AC2 plot is:

>Erusea and North Point want a continent-wide federation to resist Osea and Yuktobania's new dominance after the Belkan War
>FCU core states in the south prefer an alliance with Osea and sabotage the treaty negotiation
>North Point orchestrates a series of military coups in the southern states to force them to sign the treaty
>FCU government and Osean-allied forces work with Scarface squadron to suppress the coup
>>
Well, how about a missile that shoots planes, huh? How about that?

>>
>>558407546
Is this before or after Erusea transitioned from a monarchy to a republic?
>>
>>558407686
North Point kind of fucks itself over, the fascist coup blows up the military of every state that isn't Erusea and then the asteroid fucks them up even harder.
>>
>>558408415
The implication is that Erusea became a republic some time in the 70s-80s, within Mihaly's lifetime or just before his early career.
>>
Ace Combat spinoff written by Yoko Taro send post
>>
>>558408415
One of the briefings in AHL refers to Albireo Squadron being from the Erusean Republic, which means the monarchy got ditched prior to AC2/AHL. The exact point of the change is not mentioned anywhere iirc, but Mihaly joined the Erusean Air Force while it was still a monarchy.
Albireo is also mentioned as being 'the strongest of the Allied Forces', the games starts with the Allies holed up in Erusean territory, and Mission 3 states that Anchorhead (an Erusean city) was a crucial Allied port before being occupied, which means Erusea was/is on the side on the Allies during AHL.
>>
Looking at the timeline in Aces at War 2019, they did a pretty good job retconning everything to fit in place all things considered. 1 and 2 are a little kludged into place but integrating events that occured before Strangereal as a concept truly existed isn't the easiest thing.
>>558406764
Which I find very strange. Supposedly at one point Usea was an acronym for United States of EuroAsia, maybe just a reference to that?
>>558411791
I guess Mihaly taught Albireo their bullshit maneuvers. Also Anchorhead cannot catch a fucking break can it? I wonder if we'll sink a fleet in their harbor for the third time.

For some reason I've been using videos about airplane crashes recently as background noise and honestly it helped explain why that was such a big deal for the rookie pilots to do. Sudden changes in altitude does weird things to your mind and can make you lose track of your surroundings, even in clear skies.

What is your guys headcanon for each player characters intermediary plane(s)? Like after the starter but before the final "canon" plane.
I like to imagine Mobius 1 flies the Eurofighter
>>
>>558424454
Isn't the F-18 a "canon" plane for Mobius One thanks to some official art? With how easy the S-Rank requirements are in the PS2 games I don't think intermediate planes are necessary. In my heart of hearts Mobius flies anything and everything like in Nassault's animations, but Wardog styles on the Yukes solely in F-5s up until they had to be reborn into F-14s, and Cipher either hangs out in his Draken until the second B7R mission or he just had the F-15 the entire time.

That said I fully think Trigger switched planes every time he changed squadrons, so F-16 -> weird junk Avril got running -> F-15 -> F-22. And then he and Avril pilot their privately owned his and her F-104s because Osea is a beautiful country where civilians own anti-tank rifles and milsurp scrapyard warplanes.
>>
>>558424454
Trigger's obvious with the Eagle, but I like to think he flies a Hornet during mission 3 and 4 so the Harling things makes a little more sense to me. During his time in Spare, I like to think he gets whatever they have ready to fly and gets an A-10 for Long Day and Pipeline Destruction. When I replayed recently, I did a couple missions where Wardog flew F-20s and X-29s depending on mission so that's what I imagine before they get their F-14s. Zero I just imagine Cipher going straight from his Draken to an Eagle about halfway through the game. Plane Jesus flying a Euorfighter makes a lot of sense honestly since some Mobius pilots in the final mission have them. I'll have to try that when I replay 4. X I'm thinking Gryphus One uses the Apalis before getting his Raptor, because it's pretty middle of the road as far as the superplanes go.

I don't have any thoughts for the rest of AC, but for Project Wingman I think of Monarch going Phantom/Tomcat/two seater Chimera, with the Frogfoot used for A2G missions.
>>
>>558425882
>because Osea is a beautiful country where civilians own anti-tank rifles and milsurp scrapyard warplanes.
God bless Japanamerica
>>
>>558425882
I've seen theories that Trigger had a MiG-21 or F-104 in Spare because you unlock them in that point of the game, but I've also seen a theory I'm personally partial to that Trigger kept his F-16 from Mage somehow since the Spare Skin retains his emblem and Fort Grays markings.
>>
>>558409279
So the continuation of Ending E?
>>
>>558424454
I dunno because the my player character's canon plane in every game is either the Eurofighter, a Flanker or the F-18
I'm not interested in F-22s
>>
>>558433438
I'm bummed that AHL doesn't have a Flanker-E, or that the Terminator in game doesn't have the Ace Combat 2 camo scheme. But the Terminator is so much fun in that game with the cartoon physics flight model.

A thought
With Zero being the preorder bonus do you think they'll do a bit more and all the skins from zero are in 8's base game.If the plane doesn't appear then something close would get those skins. Like say Draken's skins are given to Gripen for instance.
>>

>>
>>558484880
At the very least I would expect that we's get all the squadron skins for their respective planes, which means things like the F-15S and the F-16XL are probably base game planes, in addition to the skins for Cipher, Pixy, and PJ. Them doing all the Ace Style skins would be cool though.

The Navy already had several B3 in service and wasn't going to use the CFT when the DLC came out and PA didn't remove them then I don't see why they would now. It helps the plane stand out in the game compared to the normal super bug.

Why does f-35 have curved surfaces if those are bad for stealth?
>>
>>558540079
the shape with the lowest radar cross-section is a sphere
>>
>>558540079
Everything in aircraft design is a concession. If the F-35 has a curved spot, it's likely the benefits of making it curved outweighed the potential increase in RCS. The DSI's are probably the most notable example. The humps *have* to be rounded, it's just how they work.
I also remember reading that some curved parts are actually made wholly of radar absorbing material and underneath them is an angled structure that reflects whatever isn't neutralised, mainly on the belly. Not sure how true that is though.
>>
File: F-117 rear quarter.jpg (66 KB, 768x538)
66 KB
66 KB JPG
>>558540079
They're not inherently bad for stealth. Rather, the shape is determined through computer simulations, and the more powerful the computer, the more polygons it can handle. The F-117 was devoid of curves (even the airfoil!) simply because the computers of the time weren't powerful enough.

>>
Do the PS1 and PS2 trilogies benefit much from playing on a CRT, as opposed to a modern display, or are they about the same?
>>
>>558543054
For 3 exclusively I'd say there's a benefit, just as the FMVs are 240p and will not look good highly upscaled and would likely benefit from the CRT lines.
Otherwise I'll be honest I played AC4 with a CRT filter to make the UI look a bit sharper and didn't bother with AC5 or ACZ.
>>
>>558543054
Well the PS2 has deinterlacing hacks for all three games so besides some of the 2D UI elements which maybe could look better on CRT, I don't think there is much benefit to playing it on a CRT. This is assuming you're using emulators of course.
>>

At least Schroeder seemed to realize in the end how stupid all of it was. He didn't seem actively malicious in the same way the Grey Men were, more like he was running on momentum because making weapons was literally all he knew how to do. Like Belka still exists but he talks about it as if it was outright destroyed. Given his age I would think he probably just started working in the Belkan arms industry when the war ended and got snapped up by Grunder. I genuinely don't think he ever considered the morality or practicality of what he was doing to begin with.

Speaking of Grunder how in the fuck were they not dismantled at the end of the Circum-Pacific War? They never stopped stirring shit even after they got their shit pushed in and even considering the secrect surrounding that war it's ridiculous. Was Harling not able to fully remove the warmongering element of the Osean government when he was restored to power or did Grunder just make up too much of Osea's MIC to fully dismantle?

What kind of country is the Republic of Sotoa?
The Republic of Sotoa is a nation located in the western part of the Belusa Continent, separated by the outer ocean to the east of the Yujia Continent. It features a diverse range of environments, including dry grasslands, mountainous regions, deserts, and oasis zones. In ancient times, it was established as a chieftain federation by multiple nomadic tribes. It transitioned to a republic through rapid modernization in the 20th century, but even now, longstanding powerful clans maintain strong influence over politics and the military. Having modernized its military forces through contemporary wars, it is a country currently facing challenges from desertification and water resource issues. Peep!

You know if there's one thing I wish they actually kept fron Assault Horizon/ it's the plane destruction. I think they kept it in Infinity since Infinity reused basically all of AH's model, but in 7 it seems like the aircraft all just have one damaged state they always go into with no variation.
>>
>>558754489
You might be in luck, AC8 is apparently implementing a newly-patented physics system that takes into account the state of a crashing aircraft and its parts when calculating its trajectory, including the possibility of ground destruction as a result.
>>
>>558757972
I do remember seeing them mention the physics in an interview, yeah, it's got me hopeful honestly. Especially after you get stuck in a protracted dogfight for a while seeing the enemy plane fall apart based on how you damaged it would make it even more satisfying. And seeing pilots bail out would be pretty cool too, I noticed some parachutes after downing fighters in Project Wingman. Stuff like this isn't required but they're little touches that make the games more immersive and cool.
>>
>>558698748
There's a difference between the insurgent with a HMG on a pick-up and a state with actual SAMs and an air force, even if it may have been mauled in the past months. The houthis actually managed to threaten two F-16s and shot down a number of Reapers.

Huh. Also seems like Griswall was the name of Aurelia at this point in time. I checked my copy of Aces at War as well and the Verusan Continent map is practically unchanged as well. It’s possible, and idk why I’m using images of maps from AC5 briefings when I have my own copy of Aces at War as well for a more updated map oops glad to know you confirmed it legit hasn’t changed at all over there though. I still find it interesting they came up with a lore reason the Anean countries aren’t named in AC5 cause they also tried to form a union which fell apart. I wonder how they felt about the Circum-Pacific War reaching their waters in the Razgriz Straits

So what are the current projections for the release date? Doesn't seem like they'd want to compete with GTA6 so maybe late December after everyone has already played it?
>>
>>558813224
I feel like they're gonna aim for a summer release to get ahead of GTA6.
GTA6 and the inevitable GTAO2 is gonna suck up all the oxygen for games in a two month window around its release.
Recent Kono-posts indicate the game is content complete and in QA/polishing, and the recent trend of background lore posts from all official Ace Combat social media accounts means we're getting the ramp up for the promotional period right now. If it was slated for a December release, I feel like they would still be keeping total radio silence.

Personally, my sorrow comes from never being able to see one fly in person. I was holding on to hope that a few flyable units would survive for airshows.

you'd think with a plane so iconic there would be one or two excentric rich planefags pumping dollars into restoring/keeping an airframe or two airworthy
>>
>>558886670
They legally can't. Tomcat's were rendered unflyable by congressional law. Specifically, the parts that make Tomcats flyable had to be destroyed, in order to prevent Iran from getting their hands on them.

I only feel sad because I was hoping at least one of their Tomcast of Theseus would wind up in a museum to gawk at. I don't feel bad about all the Flankers or Fulcrums that have been shot down in Ukraine, or the Rafales India lost. The latter case gives me a roundabout way of making fun of the French so I find it funny more than anything. Unless a plane is very rare/1 of 1 or it gets destroyed in an air show crash like that P-63 crashing into a B-17 a couple years ago it's whatever.
>>558888371
I've never understood why Iran was the only other country to get Tomcats personally. What made them so special?
>>
>>558902476
>I've never understood why Iran was the only other country to get Tomcats personally. What made them so special?
Nobody else wanted them and had the cash to pay for them. As iconic as the Tomcat was it was also a maintenance nightmare.
Why bother with that when you can just have F-16s or Mig-29s(depending on which side of the cold war you were on).

They wanted them. They were given an option between the F-14 and F-15, and they went with the Cats.
>>
>>558902908
and why did iran want tomcats anyway
they dont even have a carrier
>>
>>558902908
That's true.
>>558902984
Huh. Maybe they just thought the Tomcat looked cooler.
>>558903327
Apparently they wanted an interceptor because the MiG-25 spooked them.
>>
>>558903327
No idea honestly. There's some speculation that they preferred the F-14s radar to the F-15 for a pure intercept role against the russkies constantly flying over the airspace.
If you're conspiratorial you could claim that the US pushed them toward the F-14, a very maintenance heavy plane requiring a constant stream of parts from the US, to ensure their long-term support. That didn't end up happening and they somehow cobbled together the parts themselves(kinda, sorta, but had to write off a lot of airframes).
Ultimately it might just be down to the timing(F-16s weren't an option) and the random whim of some Iranian official thinking the F-14s swing wings were cooler than the F-15 being a big brick with wings.

The AWG-9 and the Phoenix. The F-14 was the most advanced fighter in the sky at the time, with a TWS radar and Fox-3 Missiles. You only need to look to the Iran-Iraq war to see how that turned out, the Iraqi's got absolutely bodied by the Tomcats. The F-15 would have likely performed well too, but nothing else offered the standoff capabilities the F-14 did at the time.

It's not as if the MIC is particularly open to the idea of the military maintaining their shit themselves.
There's loads of stories nowadays of techs and shit across all the services just not being able to repair crap because it is in the contractors' interests that repair or replacement has to go through them, usually at a premium cost.
You could go through job training learning how to repair crap at component level and then end up just swapping in and out black-box parts that the supplier charges the gov't fat stacks for every time they break.

They're usually worse for stealth because they limit your options for how you can shape the airframe. But a cruise missile isn't a plane, so you can use them to avoid reflecting edge configurations.

My guess is the new block TLAMs are just borrowing a bit of work from the AGM-129's design.

Given the lore blurb they put out about Sotoa mentions they're dealing with economic issues and desertification, I'd imagine it's the case of the more hawkish parts of the Sotoan government/military using the crises as an excuse to bomb the shit out of the FCU. What I wanna know is why they chose to strike acrosd the ocean to hit them and why Yuktobania doesn't seem to care very much.

>What is “Theve”?
“Theve” is the capital city of the Federation of Central Usea (FCU), a federated nation existing on the continent of Usea. It is the pivotal city for the player faction in this installment. Players take on the role of the “Wings of Theve,” a symbol of hope bearing the name of the FCU capital, and challenge the Republic of Sotoa in battle to reclaim their stolen lands.

Also meant to say, after a few days of seeing the internet discourse on the Iran War being like 95% straight-up lies (most of that being made and willfully believed by just regular users) I think 8's theme of the 'mass delusions of social media' in war and the damage it causes is probably going to be the series' most poignant theme yet.

The worst part of that I see a lot of people who are, theoretically, on the same side I am lie as much as the Iranian government has. You know I've actually started watching the news since this started? Like, actually watch and pay close attention to what the pundits and interviewees say, not just have it on as background, and avoiding anything that seems like it's ragebait. It's funny comparing the reporting between the various US outlets and foreign ones. But at the end of the day I have no power and no say in any of this crap anyways. The only thing I know for sure is Iran is FUCKED and no one in the US government has any goddamn plan on what to do after we stop dropping warheads on foreheads.

I think if they do bundle Zero as a pre-order bonus that would all but confirm it. Like I can imagine a post-mission segment on the carrier where a sailor or one of your wingmen shows you a social media post that's flat out fucking wrong compared to what you actually did in the mission. Alternatively say you accidentally(?) drop a fighter on a civilian area, your PR guy might get with you to make sure you have your story about what happened straight. I don't wanna fall in love with potential but this has good potential to be very interesting.

Yes it does but on the flip side that thing is just a huge collection of floating platforms bolted together. A much smaller version exist in 7 we blow it up all the time in M11. It would be possible in Strangereal to build larger. With the Yukes being master shipbuilders I could see them building something like that might have sold one to Sota back in the 80's or 90's as a counter to rising Osea influence in USEA.
>>
>>559256509
like in the arcade mode from 4 where you play around the platforms that eventually become megafloat from 3?
>>
>>559249532
I mean 7 already played with this a bit but most of the impact that actually got focus was how your IFF was fucked up. Which is relevant to this.

But really it'd be interesting for them to more in-depth explore that concept. Maybe something like Metal Gear Solid 2 and Revengeance worked with.

Exactly just this version has engines
It could be an excellent destruction level
30min timer
plenty of planes, tons of ships you can either destroy whats on top or start to disassemble it section by section
Once required points are met you can either fly to the opposite of the map the return line is on to end the mission or keep playing till the timer runs out. This way you can use the return line all you want and leave anytime you want after that point.

Do you think Kono is now thinking maybe he shouldn't have made Sota NOTIran as now along with all the existing ones the game will have a whole new set of comparisons ones fthat no one could have seen or planed on happening.
>>
>>559265389
I think Kono's just a good sci-fi writer in the sense that he's able to understand the ebb and flow of humanity and come up with plausible scenarios that even if they don't come to pass still resonate with people. There's levels to it, of course; making not!United States of Eurasia fight not!Iran isn't the biggest stretch of the imagination. But if Tom Clancy extrapolating military capabilities so successfully that the DoD made him get a security clearance so he would have to stop writing about the stuff is at the top of the league, I'd rank the Ace Combat series in the middle of the league somewhere around Kojimbo's ramblings about the MIC and politics in MGS and the average cyberpunk work.
>>
>>559267221
I think it helps that AC's allusions to IRL politics are more abstract as opposed to being total parallels with them. They take inspiration without transplanting them into the setting and I think AC's storytelling is more concerned with broader themes. Yet they still manage to be really on the nose in a charming way like Theve rhyming with Kyiv, Bulgurdarest building a border wall, and Belka being EXTREMELY German. Makes me wonder what Yuktobania's relationship with Sotoa will be because there's no way they'll sit the story out being right next door to Yuktobania.

>Yuktobania's relationship with Sotoa will be because there's no way they'll sit the story out being right next door to Yuktobania

I've been thinking about that as well came up with a few answers that fit
>The 1st
The Yukes are busy with someone(s) else on the continent and can't devote any forces while Sota took the chance while they had it.
>The 2nd
Things didn't go as well for the Yukes after the coup in 2010 it simmered in the pot for years until it finally blew up very violently in the mid 2020's and they are still in the middle of a civil war
>The 3rd
Different version of above it didn't blow up violently they just sort of broke up like the Soviets did in the 90's and aren't in any shape to do anything now.
>The 4th
A very nasty person came to power and he is using Sota as a pawn for his own goals
>The 5th
The people who led the 2 attempted coups in USEA all fled to Sota at the end of 90's to build up a power base and then revenge. The Grey men are also working with them and now its revenge time They stirred up enough shit with the Yukes internally to keep them busy while the three groups go on a revenge boner tour of the FCU

i think a lot of the internet lore around surstromming stems from americans ordering cans to be shipped across the pond, breaking the cold chain so that the cans keep fermenting until it turns into a foul, biohazardous sludge by the time it arrives.
this is plane related because surstromming is swedish and sweden makes planes.

This whole thing is actually really fucked up you guys. I can't fucking believe we're letting these lunatics go through with this shit. Like it's all fun and games when it's just hypotheticals and war games and fiction but this is poised to be fucking catastrophic. Even if you set aside the death tolls and nobody should, the economic damage is going to be so fucking far-reaching, and the US's limits are on full fucking display, as are their priorities. Like, fuck you South Korea you don't need this missile defense platform, sucks we couldn't properly defend the other ones. What the fuck? What the fuck are we even doing anymore? Is all of this just so some pricks can make a killing betting on it on gambling sites? Jesus christ.

You need to turn off the net for a while anon this war isn't even close to doing that
Now when the US & China have that throw down over Taiwan ok then you can worry about that happening. But this nah small potatoes in the economic sense.

Well two of the, what, seven THAAD systems in the world have been destroyed? The US couldn't protect its radar systems from a flying tractor you can shoot down with an AK? Billions in hardware gone, bases in several other countries just having to tank hits. Even the country we actually ARE trying to defend is getting hit, so what fucking good is our "protection" we insisted NATO needed to be paying us more to have? That's to say nothing of the refugee crisis this will no doubt reignite as people try to flee this clusterfuck. I'm not saying shit is gonna go nuclear but there are long-reaching consequences for this impulsive action.

I just don't know man. I'm sorry for the bad vibes but it's all just so goddamn much.

On that note there's potential that the REAL reason we're doing this is to choke off one of China's last oil suppliers. If Iran capitulates and we install an even remotely friendly regime all they have for oil imports is Russia. Not that this would stop them from doing the funny in 2027 but it would make shit harder for them even if only slightly. Just because China lies through their fucking teeth about literally everything related to their military (in general really but especially on th at front) doesn't mean we can just assume we're going to curbstomp them so we need as many advantages as possible. Ideally Uncle Pooh will just drop dead and any real ambitions to invade Taiwan die with him though because the world is actually fucked if they go through with it.

I'm sure that was one of the reasons by logical sane people so not the ones in charge but the guys with all the brass. China losing Iran oil will be a blow its the 2nd one this year first blow came with losing access to Venezuelan oil. I'm sure Xi is feeling the pain when it comes to needs lots of oil in a steady supply for sure but what would be the death kneel for Chinese plans is in Ukraine's court as they keep pounding Russian oil sites.

On another note as we are a plane general the French have got Rafale flying around the UAE protecting bases. Look like our french girl is about to see her missile and drone kill marks grow at a crazy rate.
>>
>>559366398
China is a big fucking country and I'm sure they have strategic oil reserves, but I'm skeptical if they have enough to support an invasion. That's also probably why they're pushing their shitass EVs down everyone's throats so they can conserve oil for their shipping fleets and military.

Also I really wanted to make a joke about how France should hope that Pakistan doesn't get involved since the JF-17 shot down those Indian Rafales, but after I typed it out I realized it wasn't funny. Hopefully she gets a few intercepts in while this clusterfuck is going on
>>
>>559367503
Of course they have a strategic oil reserves all nations have one but its never as large as you think it is even for the US.

I fully expect Rafale to get intercepts but I highly doubt it'll be against another plane Iran can't have many left between Israel smacking them last year and what we're doing now I wouldn't expect many left but an odd Su or Yak that somehow didn't get blown up yet.

Supermarine just wasn't ready for the jet age. Though they're most famous for the Spitfire, most of their experience was in building flying boats and seaplanes (hence why they were called Supermarine), an issue compounded by R.J Mitchell's death in 1937. He was the lead designer of the Spitfire and by far the most knowledgeable person in the company when it came to fighter design, so they were left high and dry when seaplanes fell out of fashion after the war.
I mean the Attacker's wing was quite literally taken from the Supermarine Spiteful, that should have been a warning sign. Side note: Gaijin please add the Supermarine Spiteful, I'm begging you. I will run naked through the streets of Kyiv singing the Russian national anthem if I have to

We inch ever closer to release. I guess this for people wanting to go to a preview event to make videos of the what see/play. Personally my pipedream promotion for 8 is them doing a preview at an airshow in the US because I might be able to go to that.
>>
>>559425017
Nassault or FH just for the fact I would expect both of them to make one of their own videos on the first mission. That would be great to watch before release
And Mint to play a few levels for us as I do like that ghost maid.
>First time I found her she was doing a tour of the USS Hornet
Remember PA also went to visit the Hornet to get accurate models for 8's carrier.
>>
>>559427457
The Hornet also does a big weebshit convention in the latter half of the year too. 8 might make an appearance there whether as a preview or a demo session after release.

If the snail did add the Spiteful, you know it'd be another P-51H/Spit Mk24 situation where it has to choose between making high tier props unplayable or getting clubbed by jets. And that's putting aside the fact Wart Hunder is hot dogshit anyway, treat yourself a little better.
>>

Doesn't look like she did I don't see them on her channel. Guess if she's going to do it she'll try and do it closer to 8's release.
>>

Remove Max0r entirely; he is barely a fan of anything he makes a video of and his only contribution to Ace Combat or Devil May Cry was to have a swarm of locust-like children spam the unfunny jokes he made because they saw them on youtube shorts.
>but he is kinda funny
No he is not and I shall plant a FAEB under your bed if anyone says as much.
>>
>>559442185
That's fair enough. I put him in honorable mentions since he's just a general gayming channel, with very high view counts on his videos. Same with Mint because of the Hornet thing and having unrelatedly collected the series with intents to do a full playthrough even before got announced.

Also I completely forgot about Bepsi Mig until I saw him in my subscription updates. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRyZufY5dUw

Why is ACE8 set in 2029?

The Ace Combat series' strange realityhas always been set
in a time slightly ahead of the real world.
By depicting technology extending from reality,it creates a realistic fantasy world. Set 10 years after ACE7, which took place in 2019,
the story of ACE8 unfolds on the Eurasia continent in 2029.
Beyond that, the series' timeline connects
to the world of ACE3.
