Sometimes you just need one extra block and some extra melee damage, you pop Vigna in, you pop her out, and you clear the map from that. Gets around dodges and breaks through some mechanics with consistent damage output and whatnot.Also Vigna's subclass of vanguard is a weird one in general, for reasons you've noticed. She does however have exceptionally high damage, for a vanguard.One way I used to look at vanguards back when I used Grani frequently, who is the same subclass, was by asking what they provide after I no longer need DP or early tanking/killing, as a quick deploy somewhere later in the stage. Vigna gives you an operator to jam somewhere where she can hopefully poke from a sidelane, or maybe stab a boss in the back while they're stuck on a defender.Their weaknesses are that they are 1 block, you can typically only deploy 10 of your 12 operators anyway, and that they can't be consistently used on all stages for DP generation whereas any other vanguard pretty much can. You can certainly use her effectively but be aware of those weaknesses.
