Little update on the Sims 4 Sunny's house recreation if anyone cares, making this landing at the top of the stairs work was way more of a hassle than you'd expect due to the way the game recognizes what constitutes a separate room and removing ceilings/floors. It's hard to explain but I kept running into the problem where if two rooms on separate floors overlap, if you remove the ceiling/floor of one, it would consequently remove the floor/ceiling of the other and vice versa, so when I tried to remove the floor of the space above the stairs to make it open-air, it would also remove the floor of the landing since it was considered all the same room. And when I tried to just make it separate rooms and just remove the wall after, it would break the separation and remove the roof of the whole house since it's no longer an enclosed room. So I had to figure out that I had to make the landing its own "room", then convert one of the walls into a fence to make the railing, then when you add the stairs it automatically makes a gap in the railing. This turned out to be way more of an in-depth project than I originally thought, but I guess Build Mode and decorating rooms is just my favorite part of The Sims lol. The exterior of the house is going to look insane but I'm prioritizing making each individual room as accurate as I can rather than trying to cram it all into a facade of how it looks on the outside which is basically impossible.

Finished the piano room, obviously to make the window as stupidly massive as it is in game the room would have to be two stories since I already have the walls at the tallest setting, but even if it was, even with the bb.moveobjects cheat if you resize the windows to be bigger the actual hole in the wall they make stays the same so wasn't going to happen either way. Regardless it looks better than I expected, I also put the violin in there so Sunny can play it once I actually get around to playing with the Sims.
