He doesn't have a long redeploy cause he needs repairs, he just discharges majority of his battery as heat.It's not that it isn't a big deal, but he can't really do anything afterwards besides roll away to get a recharge. Remember that iirc, no enemy in the game is immune to his pulse's effect. Everyone feels the heat.
