I got her in 70 pulls. (62 pulls. Wasted 8 pulls)I gave the game an honest try and got what I wanted out of it.But I will be uninstalling after this, mainly because the game is grinding too much of my limited time.At level 40, against level 40 protocol space, the enemy was too resilient, I had to beat them with my sword again and again for about 4-5 solid minutes before the game let me get the rewards and clear 50 sanity points, and I still had 250 other sanity points to spend, so day after day in this past month, the game forced me to spend the same 20-30 minutes against the same grunts with super armor, just wasting away my time.When I reached level 60 and upgraded the whole team, I went up against level 60 protocol space. Nothing had changed, the enemy got tougher, and the game kept demanding I spent 20-30 minutes to grind down those 300+ sanity points.This is the main flaw in this game. That's it for me. There's not enough gear sets, optimally Ember doesn't want physical damage only. But the only good sets on her (not support one) gives physical.
Reminder that Yvonne is the only operator you can call anytime to spend time with you after her side story is complete.

As a player coming from Honkai Star Rail, this game a breath of fresh air. While not perfect, Endfield has done a good job getting me hooked and just as important, respects my time.What I think Endfield does better than other Gacha:Voice Acting: The voice acting in this game on a higher quality at least in English. All the characters just seem to have very distinct personalities and the voice actors do an amazing job at expressing the characters emotions. Bonus points for using VA's from different countries. It's refreshing to hear accents and different dialects to make the world feel more alive. For me, Rossi and TangTang really stand out, with Wulfgard close behind.Narrative Events: I was not expecting some of the narrative quests to hit as hard as they did. I'm not going to go into too much detail for spoiler reasons, but it's to see real character growth and development. And for once, the MC isn't some perfect character, or just self insert. Learning more about the MC's motivations and fears added punch to the story.The Main Story: The story seems to be tighter than other mobile gacha games, with a lot less pointless yapping. HSR was a drag, with tons of yapping. Endfield seems to understand that showing me the story and letting me experience it rather than telling me the story, keeps people interested. I never really wanted to just hit the skip button to move on.Gear: Thank god, the gear is craftable and we have artificing, I'm just starting this point in the game, but man this system is 10x better than relic caverns. No more spending all my daily stamina to get relics that are 100% useless. While there is some RNG with improving your gear, at least the base gear is easily obtainable. For non HSR players, you have to spend stamina to get pieces with random base stats from a pool of sets, then you have to spend relic XP mats to randomly improve the sub stats. Here's my 2 cents, and maybe other games could pick up a lesson or two from here.
