It'd be nice to make use of the character creator in Tale of the Forsaken Land but the game's throwing too many pre-made and leveled characters at my face and sometimes they do neat things like pickpocket other NPCs during story moments. If they end up being bad then it's no big deal since it's relatively quick and easy to grind up new party members. I'm on B6 now and the encounters have been a bit tougher starting with floor 5 but i'm still managing just fine. Definitely feels like a game designed to ease a new generation into Wizardry but it's still a good time regardless though I am starting to wish there was a way to skip or fastforward through animations.

I finally beat EO2 and started 3. Is the second game easier if you use Force skills because I realized I never used them a single time because I always either beat bosses before the meter fully charged or never lived long enough to fill it. I was also in awe of Hexer's ability to fuck up everything in her path with poison and suicide.

As for Hexer, they also have Torpor which can shut down just about every random encounter and Revenge which is the most broken nuke skill in that game. They were ridiculous in 2.

After playing EO1 and 2 on basic, I finally started 3 on expert and its kicking my ass. I'm making progress but I'm just inching my way forward each time compared to the previous games where I mapped out big chunks each run even in the beginning.
