In this general we discuss revolutionary workflows, techniques, design patterns which may potentially change the whole videogame industry.I'll start by presenting a new idea: randomized tiles. At first it may seem absurd but think of the potential: limitless worlds and a reduced memory/code footprint. Also, following the infinite monkey theorem, it is most certain the most beautiful level will be generated somewhere within that space.Upon my discovery I am tuning my workflow to implement a Pi-cracker style program which tries a bunch of coordinates of the space to check if it meets some level design criteria, to make the best screen the initial screen. Now, imagine you're the player - you're greeted with a beautiful level but as soon as you step outside the initial screen boundaries everything goes random. Isn't it an interesting concept for a terror game? kek.My cracker script has been using 100% of my CPU for days now so I had to post using my phone, sorry for misspellings.
Stinky thread
