This webm has been posted here so many times that I can recite the lore by heart.
She was barely even involved with the creation of the game. There is/was a website that listed the entire development team on it (all Asian btw). Everyone else has actual jobs like programming/art/etc. except for her. Her role was some bullshit like "team coordinator" and marketing, ie. making tiktoks. Yes, team coordinator on a free indie game that one amateur dev probably could have made in less than a year.

If you've ever worked a white collar American you'll have encountered this type of person. Everything they do is a resume builder or an opportunity to jerk themselves off on LinkedIn. That's all this game is to her, it's merely a vehicle to show future employers that she can handle a leadership position, plus it has the added benefit of showcasing some sappy story about her ethnic background.

The most fun I've ever had as a developer, professionally or not, was when I worked with anons on 4chan to just build a game one piece at a time. Unfortunately it was online multiplayer and some schizo get rambling about "ip farming" and got too dangerously close to doxing me. To this day it makes me happily nostalgic and a little bit sad.

Early idea WIP. Wanted to add some melee weapons to extend the basic attack range. Starting with a sword for now. The player can get this one when their charge punch does the finishing blow to an enemy. You'll steal their parasite, turn it into a sword, and get some health back. It'll have a bigger hitbox, do more damage, and can be thrown when charged. Melee weapons will also have durability.

I've graduated to clearance Xmas candy. Just because it's holiday-themed, it's 75% off.
I still owe 15 hours to my game. Today I'll pay some of it of, I promise. I'll be working on my game's quest system. I'm torn between offering the player quests they most likely can't complete and just marking those quests as unobtainable. The latter is more work on my part and more in line with what players in the 2020s expect, but I want my game to have some friction, you know? I'm tempted to just mark it as one of the things to A/B test for, but I'm reminding myself I used to have confidence to simply go with the gut and not try to test everything. i would say that opus is the same since early/mid 2025, it's just the context window that improved so it doesn't hallucinate and can work with a larger codebase which is huge, i don't vibecode in an IDE i feed it large github issues with specs and then run the unit tests and debug it myself, i don't think a vibecoder with no SWE background would be able to achieve the same results or be able to debug down the line

Hey dude! I'm back. I managed to get the test animation I made to export and work correctly in Unity.
I baked in animations using Blender before exporting and it worked without issue.
I also managed to fix the issue of the jiggle bones, forgot their name, in Blender during animation. It was a physics issue, pretty retarded one. Basically if you're using jiggle bones, make sure to not change frames manually too fast or it messes things up.

My model is not the most complicated but if I can help I'll try to.

Make sure to only export deform bones and mark the no leaf bones. Also, control bones, armature inverse kinematics and some stuff in Blender doesn't export to Unity.

That's probably a parenting issue in Blender... I'm not sure because I didn't run into this issue but it doens't hurt to double check.

Yes and a separate Kickstarter for the game would've come a couple years down the line. He was convinced that the LLC was allowing us to operate as a legal entity so that everyone got legally paid for their work. When I brought up the idea of "commissioning" our team members and that it was retarded to be thinking of an LLC when we didn't have a game I was told that I didn't understand how these things work.

Anyone can bail at any time, including me. you maintain your shares if you bail. I can kick you. you maintain your shares if you are kicked
We all have to agree to add someone to the team. if we can't come to an agreement, we can bail.
profit is disbursed based on shares every month for the first... 6/12 months after release or something? whatever makes sense. then annually, and i only have to send if the owed amount is over 100 USD but it rolls over. this counts merchandising for the particular game and any money we get for selling the rights away. this all resets for sequels, and I own the actual IP.
