Hi, I'm very new to Deadlock and I've never played a MOBA before either. I have a shitton of playtime in TF2 at least so I'm doing okay at the movement aspect.A few questions. When you're using a public build, which my friend recommended to do as I learn the game, how do you decide what to buy first? Some builds will have little notes but some don't. I will see categories that say "early game core" "early game optional" "mid game" etc, but how do I know what to prioritize within each category? Also, how do you determine when it's midgame or lategame? I really don't know all this lane stuff and MOBA terms, what should I look for on the HUD to get an idea of the gamestate?

The 1600 soul options are >Kdash (best for mobility + good attack speed)>Weakening headshot (Doorman gets free headshots)>Slowing bullets (His gun doesn't take too long to apply it and more CC is good on a pickoff character)>Opening Rounds (just the best overall DPS option)For 3.2k you have>Alchemical fire (good for throwing under cart victims, good utility overall)>Ballistic Enchantment (Bell can easily hit 3+ people in teamfights, not the best for isolated ganks though)>Headhunter (Again free headshots, although with the nerfed multiplier maybe headshotmaxxing isn't the best option)>Hollow Points (best dps option)>Express shot (good for damage burst during combo)Ideally you change them up depending on the match, but i think generally Opening + Hollow or Weakening + Headhunter are going to be the best generalist options

Which characters have unconventional mobility options? I don't play a lot of hero shooters or mobas, so I'm struggling a little to find a character that I like. But in the games that I do play, I usually get drawn to characters with weird mobility.TF2 is my favourite game of all time and probably most played game. I have just discovered an OP strat for ez wins (@ arcanist 3).1. Pick Victor2. Don't lose lane3. After laning, run around the whole map all game, looking for sinner's sacrifices (boxes with a circle inside on the map) (nobody ever goes after them) and getting buffs from them. Because Victor really benefits from all stats (except maybe gun-related), you will soon be super OP compared to everyone else. Also, on your way between sinners sacrifices, farm easy-to-farm waves, golden statues and chests. You'll never need to go to the base to heal - just press 2. Also, farm jungle camps. When you have money, go to secret shop and buy your shit there.
