I'm done testing the new upgraded food, so I'll share my findings.Upgraded foods have the same intimacy gain base value as foods of their new rarity (40>30>20>10 from purple to gray). Some upgraded foods goes up from "liked" to "loved" for certain apostles, indicated by a pink icon instead of green. Loved food gives 80% bonus as opposed to liked's 50%. Upgraded foods also give first time bonuses (flat +40) despite not adding a separate new entry in their food preference log.>Is it worth it to upgrade my food before feeding it to them?Upgraded food is made from multiple of the same base food (two of blue, three of green, and a whopping six for gray) plus some extra materials, but they lose a minor to significant amount of intimacy gain in comparison to simply feeding them the base food multiple times, even when counting the 80% loved bonus, and it's much worse for lower rarity foods. For example, feeding xXionx the Deep-dark Chocolate Ice Cream gives her 72 intimacy, while feeding her two Chocolate Ice Creams give her 80. Feeding Erpin a Once-bitten Strawberry Cake gives her 36, while feeding her six Strawberry Cakes gives her 90. Though the first time bonus is major enough for it to be worth doing once for every meal, it doesn't seem to be worth the while past that outside of time-related reasons.Excluding special food like the VitCs and seasonal meals that everyone loves, there are a total of 60 different foods in the game now. That means that you can now get 2400 points from first time bonuses alone, which is roughly up to intimacy 25 since you need 4312 points in total to get to 30. It's much easier to max out your chibis now, so be sure to give them a variety of meals every day.
