I doubt you'd get more than 2 million crafting xp passively by the time you're at late game. So you're there just fucking blowing glass, doing your cuckweed runs with a completely useless output.

Dorg light orbs is at least kind of shakes things up a bit and massively reduces the amount of actual glass needed, but that's also a very high level method.
