I've been playing Blue Archive for close to a month and I'm impressed with the amount of different modes of content they have. Things like being able to farm up to an old 3* (highest rarity there) over the course of a few months etc. The core gameplay of FEH is still better (powercreep notwithstanding) but the things that players have to do and get rewarded with are lacking.

Promotion gains bringing you up to class bases was cool, anything that makes early promotion good is good in my books. Creating Combat Arts was a fantastic idea3H - making EVERY unit a trainee was fun for one game. It's fun to map out the paths you want units to take as they level up, even if skill builds end up being same-y across your units (getting a Proficiency skills and Death/Magic Blow are pretty much must haves). Combat Arts return, as well as Gambits, so there's a lot to do on Player PhaseEngage - Batallions are repurposed into Emblem Rings, skill inheritance is knocked down to just 2 slots, and you get to try skills before you buy them. There are so many tools to do things on Player Phase and a hundred ways to refresh units and get them to act again.I love Fire Emblem, bros.
