I think you have it backwards, the bleed ascendency does nothing for bleed, not the bleed masteries, because you don't take aggravate bleeding on gladiator, you take these masteries. 1 is also defensive, which is a decent mastery point. 3 dot multi is exactly a mastery, idk what your on about there. Crit helps with going perfect agony, which is fine, and the aggravations are all fine?

Gameplay wise? It is fun. Graphically it is great. They have done a bit better with build variety and buildcraft too.

Endgame is objectively horrible. It is not worth playing because the only viable "farm" is the temple (which is terribly annoying to set up) and maybe abyss spam. It is getting an endgame overhaul and needs it even more than PoE1. PoE1's endgame was good, but stale. PoE2's has never been good.

All of these Pathfinders are using Corrupted Soul + Supreme Decadence but I have no clue why they are doing that over just using Burden of Truth which would function exactly the same. I genuinely wish that PoE2 kept its niche and they stayed the course with the difficulty of 0.1

Aside from the many bugs/issues, I actually thought the difficulty of 0.1 was great. I had to fight Geonor like 5 times and fully understand all of his skills and abilities and it was the fucking act 1 boss. He felt more like a boss fight than anything in PoE1 except for the pinnacle bosses. I remember having trouble in Act 2 and actually grinding out like 2 levels and some gold to get some gear since I was falling behind on resists. It was sweet.

0.1 was always the hardest the campaign was gonna be. Natural power creep from leagues, new skills, classes, and general balance would have always made it easier over time. Now PoE2's campaign is just as easy as PoE1, just slower.

I play both PoE1 and 2. I have 4.3k hours in PoE1, and nearly 600 in 2. I think I got a pretty good idea of what is going on in both games.
I think PoE2 is gonna be great but it is going to take a long time to get there. Even 1.0 will probably not be great. I am betting by the middle of 2027 PoE2 will be in a state where people like it.

Keep in mind, part of that is that PoE1 and 2 now have dedicated teams instead of people flip flopping back and forth. I think this will naturally lead to both games developing clear identities that will benefit both in the long run. That is why I said the middle of 2027 cause I think it will probably take at least a full year + change to get it to that state.

I like og diablo and torchlight 1-2, never played poe, is poe2 enjoyable without looking builds/guides up or is autistically minmaxing things to follow the meta a requirement?

Duelist is being saved for the 1.0 release, which will also have Templar.

The newest holy skills in PoE1 are based on the new templar skills in PoE2, but Jonathan himself said that not having swords in the game before 1.0 will be a mistake. 0.5 will be the end game rework + new ascendancies + league mechanic and then after that is 1.0 with the finished campaign, gladiator + templar, and a new league mechanic.

Act 1 is good and flows nicely and everything else afterwards is just awful. Having to constantly go back to the caravan and ship in act two and four means you can never get into a flow state where you chain zones together. I don't enjoy moving at a snail's pace through massive zones. The campaign feels like playing through Diablo 2's act three for 8 hours.

Act 3 is the only one I dislike. I never considered Act 2 or 4's central location to be an issue considering I'd go back to town frequently anyways. However, I do agree that I think 4 could do with the ability to travel to the different islands with less clicks or something.

I also do admit it is weird that we have one act with a moving caravan and then one with a boat that you travel around on, which are kind of similar. But I never found either act to really be frustrating. It is really just Act 3 for me that sucks, which it seems is just a thing for every ARPG I guess.

Travelling through the world in poe1 is more immersive than poe2. You're actually on a journey in 1. Reminds me of DS1 which i think was the first game to really pitch that. 2 feels way more downscale. Only act 1 is really interconnected and the map being pseudo generated makes it feel small. Act 2 and 4 feel more like maps because they're spiritually disconnected.

The bandit quest feels like a really bad, video gamey justification for making you run around in different directions and going up side paths and shit. I am not saying Act 2 ruins it, but you're already getting to that sort of stuff then.

berzerker is the best by far. intimidating cry is the biggest damage boost in the game. zerker gets its bonus on every attack, and gets to idle at max rage.

the annoying part of the skill will be upkeeping power charges. chest eldritch implicit and power charge on crit should be enough
