Finally, I've 100% completed ikunew. It's extremely rare for me to finish any nukige, much less one in the Milk Factory select-a-scene format, but I managed this time. Final verdict: moderately good overall, but lots of potential for growth in the future (just like the oppai.) Breast expansion games are surprisingly rare in this medium, and this is one of the few that go full-bore on it. If that's your fetish, this is a must-read. If you're looking for another Milk Factory game, though, it will fall short of your expectations. Still, I'm hoping Edoire will put out more games in this format. There's a lot of room for improvement, and their formula is sound. Looking forward to the future of oppai!

After finishing Mahou Shoujo I've had high expectations for this author, and I'm somewhat pleased to say that even if Heartium felt somewhat short of satisfying them, I still enjoyed it.I'll start with the gameplay - combat itself was nothing special, basic axe/spear/sword triangle and an inventory management system that might've been more of an annoyance than a fun feature to interact with. It wasn't bad per se, just kind of pointless? It tried to introduce budget management where you'd use cheaper weapons for weaker enemies, but it didn't really work out in my case, there was always enough cash to go around.Perhaps the game was just too easy as a whole? It certainly didn't help that the difficulty didn't rise with each chapter - sometimes you'd have cakewalk missions against some bandits or other trash mobs. At the very least the later stages had satisfying bonus/alternate conditions to fulfill that reminded me of the Mahou Shoujo difficulty. So yeah, the gameplay was decent, but nothing special - the thing I've liked most about it was the amount of troops on certain maps, it really felt like a war due to both enemy and ally AI soldiers.Presentation-wise it's a shame we didn't get to see full sprites outside of character profiles. Their expressions could have used more variety, too. Backgrounds, maps and the 4 CGs we got were all very nice. So-so overall. Music was in a worse shape since I can only remember the mongolian throat singing track, a huge downgrade in memorability compared to Mahou Shoujo.

Finished Chaos;Head. I can say I enjoyed the game for the most part, but there were parts of it that were a definite slog and unenjoyable to read, mainly the heroine "routes". These were basically extended bad ends, some of them rather unpleasant to read through. The only one that could really be interpreted as a good end in any was Ayase. And of course the two normal endings are bad ends as well, so it's like reading a long utsuge which keeps ending in different bad ways, which becomes tiring over time and it's hard to keep your interest. After clearing the heroine routes, the true end was an actual good ending, which redeemed things in a way, and it was nice to finally get some positive closure on the story. I dunno how I feel about it overall, and I don't know if I'd actually recommend it. I had planned to reread Steins;Gate after this but now I'm not sure if I feel like it anymore. I feel kind of exhausted with this writer at the moment, but we'll see.
