I think my final thought from putting some time into things, there is not enough inspire friendship Bungie magic to excuse that this was a project ages in the making, probably costly and still feels a bit off. I do admit and can see the general vision your characters and the overall experience gets better as you upgrade, Rook was an experience that surprised me all together and I give credits due there despite how samey things can get, he basically is your guy to run to get upgrade diodes and other widgets for the faction trees. I still am not a fan it’s hero characters and I don’t trust Bungie’s balancing, if Triage’s heals don’t get looked at I just feel like we’re in for a very stupid situation. Removing that much risk and basically having a character that innately bubble wraps any downtime recuperation for a fight feels like cheating. You could slow the heals and he’d still be a strong character, I’d have the bots on a more serious timer or cooldown for the ability. I’m a bit cautious how there’s only 1 more actual normal map and hellnightmare map. I understand that’s kind of standard with extracts but yeah the shoe to drop for Bungie paywall mtx hustle is upon us. 6.5/10

the reason is because you start to understand the games systems and mechanics better.
for example at first I was frustrated you have such little stamina (heat). then I realized as you level up you get free bonus stamina from upgrade trees.
then I realized how the flow of the game works better. then I learned the gun balance and how to pvp better.
it's very RPGlike and it doesnt tell you that immediately.
you very much need upgrades and certain things like cores, implants to feel good. you can do missions to play towards them. you can ignore most PvE and focus on map events and PvP.
