I just found out a neat little feature in the lounge. Ever since update 1.3.18 in February, you can sit in the lounge. If you place your descendants around you, they talk to you.If you place a descendant nearby, they say about 3 or so different normal lines.If you place them far away from you while you yourself sit in the living room, they ask you to come closer.If you sit behind them, at the windows, in the living room, they will get creeper out and let you know it.If you go to the bar downstairs, and go to the tree, and sit right behind a descendant, they have slightly different creeped-out lines from the ones upstairs.I never knew that until just now, but the update is literally like almost month old.So yeah, different responses/reactions based on where you and they are seated inside the lounge.
I think the devs learned from the Dia story that they should just get rid of the self-insert "John Descendant". The characters are already strong enough. You shouldn't self-insert as Lepic. They should just make the main focus point descendant the MC during that episode.

It's funny that they're telling this serious story that has some pretty messed up stuff in it, inside a game where like 90% of the players are just here for the boobs. But then that begs the question, why is clone Dia running around helping Albion and betraying her programming? Clone Dia would just take the arche from real Dia while they're both in the base. I forget why clone Dia was even here at all.Real Dia is dying on the floor and Gley finds her and immediately knows what is happening. Then clone Dia is standing there. What do you even say or do? Gley decides to just roll with it and accept her as "Dia", but that's kind of fucked up in it's own way. Rejecting her or accepting her are both fucked up in different ways. I think they kind of dodged this question by having real Dia use space magic to just transplant her memories, essentially her "self" into the clone so it is sorta the real her, but it would perhaps have been even more interesting if that didn't happen, and Gley has to decide between accepting or rejecting a clone.I think, scientifically speaking, if you seamlessly transferred a person's memories into a machine/clone/whatever, you would still have the essence of what makes a person a person, and more importantly, what makes a specific person themselves. We are not our mortal shells, we are a collection of experiences that form a person. Clone Dia will be fine.
