I didn't like that artifacts became junk after five levels. What about the majority of mods that add new artifacts? >>559064670If you only care about the model and not the whole mod the easiest way to implement it would be to pull the mesh and textures from the original mod, run them through CAO to optimize for SE. at that point the assets can be used in SE, to get them in the game you could do something as simple as installing them as a mod in mo2, then renaming the sword mesh to the same filename and filepath of the weapon you want to use. The new mesh will override the existing weapon when loaded lower in your load order. for example, if you wanted to swap the model for the ebony blade to that plague sword, you create a file path in your created mod for meshes/weapons/ebonyblade and in that folder place the mesh for the plague sword and rename it to ebonyblade.nif. it will work for any other sword weapon you have installed either vanilla or modded.you want to make sure it's the same type of weapon though, don't try to replace wuuthrad with sword for example, the animations won't work.
