wow, starting to feel major fatigue setting in this reset, feels like there’s hardly anything fresh or new to do. even the new Arc didn’t really mix things up much, Cold Snap being back is nice but everything just feels so…stale? doubt even a new map will fix how I feel…the current maps desperately need more dynamic events outside of weather effects, like a random timed King Of The Hill event, sporadic kill requests during a match while it spawns more Arc than usual in randomly designated areas…just something to keep you on your toes instead of just hitting the same POI’s over and overfuck it, I’m going all in on Marathon purely for nothing more than a break from this, I don’t care if its good or bad or flops in a weekend, Embark are just moving way too slow here its a fucking glacial pace despite this game being a runaway success

All of them can spot you from extremely far away and odd angles even behind cover.

I like being in pvp lobbies where everyone pretends to be friendly using voice chat and/or emotes way too much. I just killed a couple of players. So I know that I'm 100% in a more aggressive lobby (no pvp for 10 rounds prior to that). It's very funny to me how they try to act friendly. I've escaped ratkanda twice after self defense now by dodging pvp players and running to the exit. Not shooting back still counts and they shoot me a little bit, but that's it. It has to be a sliding scale or are all pvp players this bad at shooting?

PVE lobbies are bait. Everything is looted within 3 minutes of the match starting. If you're really trying to gear up, just kill somebody every 3-4 rounds so you're in low elo pvp lobbies. To turn this mindless timekiller of a game into an actual fun and fulfilling experience all they had to do was:give us an interesting skill tree with skills that actually matter and the ability to actually build something with our choicesand/orlean into arcarde-y gunplay more. That's it. The game is already designed right for that, they have a great base to do the rest. Instead they've been shitting out new maps and introduced a system that makes us hunt for insane amounts of all that uninteresting junk for some underwhelming rewards. For the gunplay part, they could've just removed most of that junk that nobody wants keep running around looting for something that is actually exciting, like gun parts with various stats and modifiers that we could bring home and build guns with, or if they're too lazy for such a "deep" system just make lots of variations of the existing guns with stats and modifiers that give different types of situational advantage and change the gun physics just enough to make them feel different, and bump the rates much higher. Or don't even remove the junk, just put that meaningful loot on top. I don't see why all the decent loot has to be so scarce, except for lore reasons, which is something literally no one cares about. Let's make the guns spawns so scarce, the skill tree so terrible, then they populate the servers so that you'll be butting heads with multiple players on every run regardless and give them just a few good zones to loot on each map, and we're done here. Bots shouldn't be the only exciting aspect of your extraction shooter game. Even PVP isn't, at least not in solos. I'm surprised that this game has retained such a large playerbase, I'm guessing it's cause many people just using the game to mindlessly get that extraction shooter itch off without being forced to do super sweaty PVP like you have to in literally every other extraction shooter out there? I mean, that's what it is for me too, but it could be so much better.

I wouldn't mind no ABMM if they'd cut the lobby population like in half. Why is there so many people around? Why is there so little loot to share between all of us? I get maybe like 1 in 10 games where I don't bump into a mf, often out of fucking nowhere lol. Even if I go around looting scraps in safer areas trying to literally just avoid seeing anyone I'll still see or at least hear at least one player per match. Shit feels like a BR on every map, so what choice do I have to avoid this chaos, not even the PVP just this free-for-all type of gameplay in general, in every match except going chungus mode?
