It sounds even worse here since they will change the map each season, which probably means aspects of the "storytelling" will completely disappear in 3 months.The part about the community unlocking cryo is essentially what the raid race in destiny was, where teams of 6 would compete for a world's first completion, or perhaps even worse, live events from destiny (think the Seraph Tower public events) where the community had to reach a numerical goal to unlock some "content" that was time-gated artificially. The cryo map sounds like a destiny 2 dungeon in that sense, harkens back to something like Shattered Throne from Forsaken.

I think the issue with he low TTK is that it doesn't gel very well with the hero abilities.Destroyer is the most obvious one, he's got to hit to send the rockets off but if you're hitting them then there's a good chance they'll just die before the rockets even reach then. The rockets are actually good against the UESC commanders but that just means that Destroyers ult is useless for half the game.Or Triages shield break tracker, either two things happen, you're close enough to move in and kill them anyway or you're too far away to actually make use of the trail. Either way the ability is useless.Vandals cannon? May as well just shoot them, you're not killing them any faster not using your guns.

Knife can be very good for pvp and pve. Huge burst damage, high move speed, and you can clear recruits / turrets / tick nests quietlyGame is way more fun as a team but going solo has its merits. When you can just go in and try stuff without worrying about wasting someone elses time/loot, you can experiment and learn fast.
