PvE has done some irreparable to this game. Well over half of all the escapes have been done in PvE meaning that the playerbase has been effectively halved. True timmies and shitters just stick to PvE with its braindead bots and the PvP mode just gets a higher concentration of tryhards and neets.For me, PvE is just too fucking boring, since the AI is braindead and you never get killed. It lacks all the tension and dynamics of PvP. But as a wagie with a life outside of this game, it just feels like every single encounter in PvP just leads to me facing people who have significantly higher hours than me and who all know the maps perfectly, can pull all the sweaty metamoves (from pixel perfect quick peeks to runjump peeks etc.) and who are also much better geared than me, then add some squads to the mix and man, is this a miserable experience.I don't know, if I'm just playing on sweaty as fuck servers or something, but it feels like there's absolutely no variety in PvP. It's ALWAYS against someone, who plays the game like it's their job. I can't even remember the last time I got killed by someone with less than 2000 hours played and all my dogtags are from people with +1500 hours played. Of course, I need to get stomped by neet sweats from time to time, but it would also be nice to at least sometimes run into someone, who either has no idea what they are doing or are at a similar skill level to me.
