The new full arts in Yugioh OCG have the illustration on the whole card and they have a transparent text box on top. And the new full arts in Rush Duel like the one in the OP don't have a text box at all. So those two are actual full arts.

>>559678675I've always thought that the Charmers are massively overrated and I can't figure out what the appeal is supposed to be. Yugioh has plenty of waifubait and Charmers are among the plainest. They're also not prominently featured in the anime or have ever been competitively viable. I legitimately have no clue what the hype is about.

Goes to show how important it is for a deck to not get screwed over in the skill department when Gradius is better off running a vanilla beater just to have a skill instead of playing the deck's main boss monster.
Finally got to stage 4 in the event and tried out Menzaburo's event deck. Man, it's so much fun. They've been doing him dirty since day 1, but this was worth the wait. I can't believe they're seriously advertising the event like Yuro is the main attraction when this deck is so much better.

Especially because Red-Eyes seems so strong and so many people brought it to the tournament. But at least noodles topped. All in all, it was at least pretty diverse. Although Red-Eyes looks much stronger than the other new decks. It's crazy that they decided to pre-emptively nerf the Noodle skill to prevent them from fusion summoning more than once so that they wouldn't go into multiple Spice fusions and pop the opponent's entire field and yet Red-Eyes is allowed to do exactly that.You can also see that Quantum is still champion material. I have never seen Excutie get so close to winning against a real deck in RDL. Maybe he's skilled enough to secure it a place in rogue tier.

It's fun because you're actually playing Rush Duel and not using a skill to make your wincon super consistent or do things that the deck wasn't supposed to do. The problem is that the RDL meta is not kind to decks that actually play Rush Duel because the DL devs insist on trying to turn Rush Duel into Speed Duel 2 with their shitty skill design.

>>560296540The thing is that the people we see at the tournaments are at a higher skill level than the average people in GRF. So any deck that can at least win can probably grind points in GRF. The decks we saw at Worlds last time were still not too far off from what we were seeing in the tournaments. Pure Gradius is a deck that can win games, but not one that would be likely to win a tournament, I think.
