A muddy area next to it is being dried out so a freezer can be attached.The old food shop will be gutted and converted into a Nursery for the upcoming baby boom. Seemed appropriate with it being in close proximity to the school.I really wanted to avoid demolishing old buildings and I think I've managed to do so. Having to make an existing space work is more interesting than building new.

Some remodeling and addition progress. The new food shop will still have the same freezer configuration though with one less entrance. Double walled all around with air locks and sockets for two freezer units. The butcher space will be a ways away relatively but it's a small price to pay.The bathroom has been altered to have multiple entrances, one for the kitchen, one for outside, and one for the shop floor. Also double the toilets. The outdoor dining space will be reconfigured later when the old shop is closer to making the move over but the gravel has been replaced with paving in the mean time. The one remaining wood porch will likely remain the way it is.

The empty space by the hospital now has a pool.Used to grow healroot there but last time I did that, Tilt the Planet caused the 40 plants to produce like 1200 healroot so we won't be growing more for a while, and nowadays there's plenty of greenhouses to use instead.I think the pool fills out the space nicely.

If it wasn't for all the other mods on the workshop acting as a base from which to copy there's no way I would have figured this out.
