Usually you get 2 or maybe 3 more dust per hour, so even if you save up 2000 boxes that's only 4-6k dust which at best isn't even 1/3 of a level, at least where I am where's 18k per level. So over the course of a year you're only going to gain possibly 1-2 levels than if you just use them when you get them. Meanwhile your arena and towers are harder. That said UR is gay and it barely makes a difference there too so do whatever.
