Managed to pull of a 5 star Sengoku Ironman. No new game plus bonus and no flags. It's always fun to try games without resetting and rolling with the punches, like the foot soldier genocide I had to deal with. Would recommend to any fellow Sengokufags in here

I beat the blitz by letting them take land until it was a castle battle and had really good luck with no one dying by that point.As for getting the Takeda generals, I gave light attack to Ranmaru and just rolled assassinates until I got lucky, though at the cost of a lot of people dying to assassinate or getting run over by birds. Off memory I lost Isoroku, Goemon, Keiji Maeda, a back up foot soldier who I had for a long time, and Niwa. All just trying to get those two from Tenshi sect and bloody Hara.My luck was really good until post blitz when I was eating up Hojo, I got complacent and ended up losing the 3 castle territory back to them which started a long struggle which saw my death luck come around with Ikyuu, Himiko and that sleepy tanuki dying in fast succession. I ended up losing the whole west to the demon army but thankfully the Tenshi Sect and Tanegashima to bottlenecked them away from me and I could slowly rebuild.

A little while ago I ran Daibanchou hard mode on a save with no stars and almost pulled it off but died to Holy Flame cause I fucked up their dungeon and Rouga got squished by Jean. I might try that again, it's just way longer and being able to escape battles makes the whole ironman part a bit easy. I don't think I got a single character killed.

Took me like 15 minutes to get Quest running. Wine decided that it didn't like being full screen on a secondary monitor. I haven't fixed it. I just told it my secondary was primary.
Now that I have infinite Rance Castle uses, I can't figure out its logic. Sometimes, I'll repeat a not new event and get a skill point. Other times, I don't.

I am currently playing the Dai Sengoku Rance. I ended Part1 with abotu 16 character clears and was forcefully moved to part 2. How can I prematurely end the playthrough in order for my clears to reflect on Second Playthrough bonus? I only have like 5 points to choose from which isnt quite right.

I beat it in around 70 turns and ended with about 80 points plus whatever the Ending Points skill gave.But that's an outlier and took a lot of effort. Then on a second game I did 1 star Kill the Monkey route in 45 turns, and that yielded 113 points. It's a lot faster and easier and gives more points simply because it's 1 star. Replaying quest made me understand why people yoink the kalars crystals after they rape them. They throw out life ruining curses without a care in the world if they get the opportunity to. It truly is a destroy them in the first strike or you will be destroyed by the retaliatory strike scenario.
