I really do think the devs reluctance to go all out on the robot and furry agents really hurt this game in the long run. I don't get what they're afraid of a this point. Genshin and Honkai already do regular safe designs with kemonomimi mixed in making ZZZ feel not only pointless, but lacking compared to these games as well and they're still trying so hard to play it safe making the furries free and giving the robots some kinda of catch of being partially human somehow. They've already conditioned players into mainly waiting for void hunters at this point so why not just throw everything wacky in between? What can they really lose at this point?

In DA you don't really need to care so long as you get 20K on each stage, but if you bomb the fuck out of a new Shiyu stage you might not be able to make it up on other stages.

At which point, it means your damage probably sucks and even for the sake of speed you should consider ulting out of stun to maximize usages. One out of stun with a second in second stun window is better than holding for first stun and then because you overcapped decibels the entire time, not getting a second. If you kill the mobs quickly and route to reach stun at 4.2~5x, then holding ult lightly for stun has proved better for me multiple times. At 3.5x it's borderline, I had holding score higher and kill quicker if I didn't see another usage no matter what. Sending was better if I milked an extra usage out by not overcapping for so long. If you can't reach stun before 3.5x then you may need to start by equipping your agents with disks and a WEngine.Though I am biased because I've always enjoyed sweating in Shiyu, and so a lot of this is just standard Shiyu fare. People have very narrow minded ideas of what is "correct play" coming from DA when Shiyu has always been home to a lot of esoteric weirdness. You'd see shit like AM% D6 Qingyi so that she could prep Shock for Zhu to Disorder, feeding her decibels for Ult. There is a reason DA took over as the primary endgame focus, it is generally more "normal" than Shiyu that often asks you to hunt for optimal RNG and make minor build adjustments. My Dialyn build changes almost every Shiyu cycle, for example.There is very specific "pollution" that I dislike the score system for adding though (for example, minor time saves become disproportionately important if the score bracket is changing mid-stun) but overall this "Shiyu rewards you for playing wrong!" thing has mostly felt hyperbolic and untrue to me personally.
