What's more important is skill level, and the way to gauge skill is by observing their gameplay directly. Observing the GvG scores is a decent way to determine this, but they don't always tell the whole story either. For example clutch fan walls aren't factored into scores.

was tinkering with the chinese dps spreadsheet anons and figured out something interesting.crit+affinity are additive. if you are over 100% crit+affinity, your crit lines give 0 damage and you are bricking yourself by rolling it. affinity lines at that point will cannibalize your crit.i.e. if you have 100% prec, 30% affinity, 80% crit... you will have 30% affinity hits and 70% crits functionallyyou can test this yourself with the spreadsheet by setting your affin+crit over 100%

At what point are you considered good at pvp?I reckon at 1500 you reach a point where you need to be winning 70% of your games (even if you don't have a 70% winrate at that point) to progress further, unless you're only ever losing against 2-4k players, so you're already better than most mythic players which are already better than most other pvp players.At 1700 you have to go on high win streaks with no losses and absolutely *no* losses against anyone below 2k points or you're set back considerably.2000 is obviously already basically peak of skill since you start gaining mere single points each game against anyone below you while still losing the progress of tens of games if you lose against them, and even losing against other 2ks will set you back 5-7 or so games against scrubs.Despite all this, should matchmaking exist? I don't think so.If you were to win against people of similar ranking in a matchmaking system, you're already ranking up equally as if you fought them without matchmaking, meanwhile you have to prove you're still better than lower ranked players and not just the ones in your small elo circle.However to prevent people from having too many stomp matches, below 1k mythic players should only be matched with mythic players that are lower than 1300 or so with maybe a 2-3k player thrown against them once in a while so that they can learn from getting their teeth kicked in.

Prison break is random and missable. GvG is better but you need 30 people online.
