empower is a fucking stupid gem and it's dumb they left it in the game when doing a rebalance when it's just mandatory for like 80% of builds in the game. it's not even a chase item either, regular empower is 80% as good especially if you're already socketing it into a body that boosts gem levels.It's not as bad as poe2 where you literally have +15 to gem level and it's the only stat on any gear that matters at all, but even +3 being a 70% damage increase in poe1 is stupidthis one gem is giving me 10 quin builds worth of damage and I'm not even wearing a Skin of the Lords yet, just a Skin of the Loyal so it's only a lvl 4 empower (3+1)
