It's really perplexing to me, I enjoy PVPing and going after people aggressively but I'm actually good about it and stalk people and find good timing to strike. I want less fire/explosion based arc. It would be cool to have something like the shredders but give it 4 legs and dual miniguns on the side, have it just walking around and give it a very short target-acquire time and near instant spin-up time, basically just enough time to go "oh shit" and maybe hope behind cover.

There need to be more formidable arc that are terrors of the players and make you super anxious even seeing down the hallway or out in the open, less of these fat fucking blob tanks with a tiny little gun that it has to slowly orientate over at you.

Another good one would be maybe something like a big fucking wall with a shield on the front and its mechanisms and shit are all behind it, but it uses gyromechanics to orientate so it's always facing the player and trying to smash the player into shit, and some parts of some maps have two of these and they will try smashing you between them.

Also maybe some kind of serpent-line enemy that has segments and slithers around the map, easily getting into small spaces even though it's big and deadly as to flush raiders out when it enters a building.

If you're getting ambushed the fight is usually over, unless your opponent is shit enough that you can deploy smokes or utility, which should be the default, not the occasional.

The fight should be more about the fight, there should be more combat-related things happening between "spotting" and "end of encounter".

No, it's the same as it was when I got into it 3 months ago. There's a new mob coming soon and next month is a new shoreline map and some new big content drops with it.
The game has seasonal resets called expeditions that you can miss and the second one of all time just finished, the third is going to be the max cap on benefits you get from doing it consecutively.

I think this game will go Warframe distance, Nexon is the proprietor and as shady as they are they're very very good at keeping games going forever; combat arms is still going with an active community, it's much smaller than back in the day but it's still going. Maplestory is still going and they even brought it back from lifesupport. Honestly Nexon's worst habits are just over censorship intruding on gameplay and microtransaction creep.

I'd say play now before they start adding vehicles or overpowered bullshit, right now it's still in the infant stages of people bitching about overpowered early game weapons. In the future of this game its players will be nostalgic for those days.

It matchmakes you generally to the kind of player you are with other players like that. You can abuse it, it's similar to a karma system that tracks the last two-three games.
