Re:Verse is a PS5 remaster of RB1 which is a remake of the very first game, Hyperdimension Neptunia. RB1 serves as a good introduction for the main 4 goddesses. Despite the naming convention, RB1 is not connected to RB2 or 3. However, RB2 is the start of the mainline continuity which does include VII/R. RB2 and RB3 aren't on PS4/5 as far as I know here in the West. However, if you want to start VII/R, you really only miss out on a few references. Speaking of VII, there are 2 versions. The original version and the VR remake. The former is the series introduction on PS4 while the remake, VIIR, is a remake of VII with some VR scenes that take place during and after the story. They're both on PS4.
