Every single part of the game was at least good and had a lot of content which made the entire game amazing. KH2 and later games became more specialized which made them reach arguably greater heights, but it also made them much more inconsistent.
Gotta love how so many people in the community still act like Kingdom Hearts is the secretly the best one and "an underrated gem overshadowed by KHII" even though the consensus pendulum has firmly swung back in the direction of Kingdom Hearts being the best game for several years now.Poor old Kingdom Hearts II can't be mentioned without somebody whining about "muh level design" or "Disney is irrelevant in KHII" invariably followed by a comparison to the first game.
