The story is kind of ass, but I really hope they pull it together in a year or so. Their cinematography is so good, and they've got some brevity knowhow too. I'm so used to hoyo games where it is just four people standing in a circle yapping for hours doing the same shitty fold-arms emote with a static camera.It isn't just this scene or anything either. I was hoping in the second half we'd see something that made his crashout more justified, but it really was just "How dare they accidentally kill my father while he's trying to steal their food!" I feel like they know it's kind of dumb too, because some of the text documents try to give better reasons (that he never once mentions and are never followed up on): The stockade can't beat nefarith, so they may as well join her and take down a common enemy too. That'd be way more interesting to actually deal with, especially since we're kind of manipulating qingbo in the same way as nefarith, just from a different angle.

Guys, outpost selling factory goods for bills were automated in CBT1. You even had the option to do it manually if you wanted or you could switch it to auto. How much QoL is just going to be things they created and tested early on so they can roll it out in the future and say they're doing things.
